Warren Murphy

Warren Murphy has written 200 novels with worldwide sales of fifty million copies.
His books and stories have won a dozen national awards including two Edgars from the Mystery Writers of America and two Shamus awards from the Private Eye Writers of America.
He is also a screenwriter whose credits include The Eiger Sanction, Lethal Weapon II, and the Murphy's Law television series. Murphy's book series, "The Destroyer," was the basis for the film "Remo Williams: the Adventure Begins," and a new Destroyer film is now in pre-production at Columbia Pictures and is scheduled for release next year.
In addition to the HRW, MWA and PWA, he is a member of the Screenwriters Guild, the American Crime Writers League, and the International Association of Crime Writers. He is also a member of the Adams Round Table, a New York-based writers' group whose members include Mary Higgins Clark, Lawrence Block, Peter Straub, Susan Isaacs, Harlan Coben and Linda Fairstein.
