Choose a scene you've already written but that for some reason isn't gelling as you'd like. Rewrite it, using a totally different narrative voice. For example, if it's third person, narrate it from the 1st person point of view of one of the character's instead; if it's past tense, try present tense; if it's very poetic, try keeping it sparse and factual. You get the idea.

If you don't feel comfortable changing a work in progress - because you are SO certain the voice is perfect - then use this exercise to begin a story, using a germ of an idea about which you've put off writing. Try writing the story in a voice entirely different from the type of narrative voice you most often choose.
