Susan Payne

Long before Susan ever knew how to write she was a storyteller. From an early age, she developed an affinity with poetry. She wrote for many years, strictly for her own pleasure. In the 90’s, she started sending out some of her poetry which resulted in having five poems published in various small anthologies.

After a twelve year hiatus, Susan started writing again in October of 2010. She writes a blog titled “The Water Witch’s Daughter. She writes this under the pseudo of SuziCate. Some of her current writings can be found at www.suzicate.wordpress.com. If you want to know more about why she writes you may refer to this post on her blog.

Many of her articles have been featured on other blogs as well as her own. Susan belongs to several online writing groups, and a local writing group.

Susan is currently working on a nonfiction book as well as a book of memoirs about her father. She hopes to someday to finish the five novel manuscripts she has packed away.
