Writing Prompt for September 24, 2008

See it, Write it--The fictional dream (3)

Watch the video then write the real time scene in objective omniscient narration. Don't go into anyone's head. Try to SHOW the emotions of the man with the phone. Don't tell the reader how this man feels.

Now, write the scene from the limited POV of the man with the phone. Use his thought, but don't allow it to come to the reader filtered through the narrator. Show don't tell, throughout. In other words, HIDE YOUR NARRATOR AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

Finally, write the scene that you imagine would follow this one.
