Michael M. Withiam

Michael M. Withiam is a successful business executive, a community volunteer, a part-time college professor, a business consultant, and an experienced feature writer, editor and columnist who is now exploring more creative aspects in his writing – primarily fiction and essays.
Michael’s writing credits include more than four years as a newspaper reporter, feature writer and columnist, several years as a writer and editor for university magazines and in-house business publications, and several local and regional magazine articles. As a business executive he has written countless newspaper columns, proposals, and speeches. He has also created and hosted live television and radio news and public affairs programs in both Canada and the United States.
Michael has developed and taught courses in Business Communication and Writing, News Writing, and Writing for Marketing and Public Relations and Sports Marketing at several colleges, including Old Dominion University, Ithaca College and Cornell University. He has also developed and delivered Communications and Public Relations courses for trade associations and non-profit organizations.
