Marie Colligan
Marie began as a non-fiction writer (many years ago) and was paid for several articles on antique hatpins and food articles for women's magazines. However, she is now trying her hand at fiction.
Marie's first novel, Marcel's Gift, is now available as an E-book on amazon.com.
Currently, she facilitates a writers' critique group in Lynchburg, VA. once a week.
She also belongs to the HillCity Writers--a group of writers who help each other over the various hurdles that pop up (also based in Lynchburg).
She is about 1/4 of the way through her second novel, Lady Mirielle's Flight.
She recently attended the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers' conference in Allentown, PA. (The agent, Donald Maass, was the keynote speaker!) and HRW's conference in September 2011.
