What comes to mind when you think of a smoke filled room? A place where politicians have gathered to find another way to slap taxpayers around? A pool room? A place where mobsters are shooting dice?
Remember: if you can't come up with a full story of 1,000 words or less, try a vignette of at least 200 words. If you decide to submit a vignette, let us know that it is one. Vignettes can start anywhere in a scene and end anywhere. Nothing has to be tied up nicely in a vignette. But they can lead to stories later on.
