Douglas (D.J.) Lutz

A retired Marine Corps bandmaster, D.J. has recently taken up the craft of writing as his new creative outlet. D.J. is a storyteller at heart, tending to stay in the mystery genre, writing tales with a twist at the end. And while he has written a few novellas, and is currently re-writing a full novel, D.J. also enjoys short story work. Not quite published yet, D.J. insists that someday his work will be recognized by someone besides his family and the three other people who read his work.

Current WIP is a The Blue Crab Detective Agency, a story about a fledgling private investigator on her first case.
D.J. is also collaborating in the development of a serial Internet cartoon, Blood & Dagger, featuring a hard-boiled detective operating in post WWII Chicago.
