Hampton Roads Writers (HRW) serves aspiring and professional writers and passionate readers in all genres through a variety of programs, services, and events, often presented in partnership with other writing groups and cultural organizations. Through our newsletter and frequently updated website, our monthly OPEN MIC events, our series of Traveling Pen Workshops, and our annual September WRITERS’ CONFERENCE in Virginia Beach, HRW is helping to increase Hampton Roads’ visibility within Virginia as a region with a vibrant literary arts community.
