DIALOGUE
"My name is Jack Sprat, though in this age when fame is the altar at which most people worship, I am not sure why you should care who I am or that I exist."
Who said this and to whom?
Where was this line spoken?
What time was it?
What set the speaker into motion?
What might a listener's response be?
If no one else is around, what might the speaker say next?
As you answer these questions, start freewriting a scene. Try to let the dialogue carry the story as it pushes the plot foward.
HAVE FUN!
